Author Sandra Clayton and her husband have given up their home and their old surroundings to live on a forty-foot boat. This wasn't done without much thought, as both admit it is hard to depart with prized possessions.
The Voyager is a wonderful boat that has little room for all their possessions, much less food staples, but the couple after much thought have been able to transition from living in a home to being nomads on their incredible journey. Readers I am sure assume that having a life like the Clayton's is easy- however, as you read the account of their journeys you will see there are many challenges.
If reader's think that parking for cars are a problem think again- many large vessels all attempt to dock their boats in some of the most beautiful waters of the world. Sometimes the Clayton's run out of provisions and have difficulty acquiring them, not to mention that often they cannot speak the locals language. Frustrating as it may seem- it is what the couple wanted and desire. They are able to beat many obstacles and finish their journey.
The author is a very descriptive writer and it shows in her views of the beautiful ports, storms and colorful people they meet along the way. She does not try to make the journey glamorous in all areas; she bares her feelings of frustration, anger and love.
A truly inspiring story that will show all with determination, flexibility and a positive mind we can all achieve our dreams.
