I entered my book, Darkness Descending, in a book contest a couple of months ago. The winners won't be announced until the end of March. About a month ago, my book was reviewed by one of the readers assigned to the contest, and she gave my book a really good review. Fast forward to today's mail ... I opened up a letter and inside was the Midwest Book Review letterhead. MBR sent me a review of my book! That was completely out of the blue, but it really made my day.
