Daddy,
I love you because you had strong feelings and words for the Adoption Worker who asked you and Momma if you wanted a different baby, since I was "damaged" goods. You said that I was your baby girl no matter if I had several TMIs right after my birth.
I love you for helping Momma to teach me to read and write when I was three. You knew I was going to need to entertain myself during the summers after those expensive surgeries that have allowed me to walk, drive, travel the world, and become a whole person.
I love you because you cried when my first love broke my heart and we both cried as we buried your first love. And those anxious, hopeful tears when you told me that you had feelings for Mom's best friend. Momma and Uncle Tommy would be pleased that you and Colleen are spending the Winter of your Lives together.
