Essentially, we're more than 1/3 of the way to Christmas already. So, who's started their Christmas shopping yet? If things keep going the way they have been, economically speaking, I think we're all going to be looking for steals and deals throughout the year!

I wonder when the stores will start breaking out their Holiday decorations. I know some that already do it in August, can't wait till we start having to be bothered by tihs bunk in July! Oh, do you remember Crazy Eddy's Christmas in July Insane Sale?

--I always do. I usually start my shopping the day after Christmas and I pick up things all the way through the year as I can afford them.

I tried shopping all year, then I'd forget where I put it, or forget that I'd gotten something for someone & get them something else. I went back to last minute shopping - but I do it with GCs I earn & save all year.

I never shop early but the way things are going this year perhaps I should while there are still some stores to shop in. Our Value City and Goody's Department stores are gone and I heard that Pennys first quarter earnings were down by fifty percent.

Maybe it's a hint for a better present this year. Start saving now, lol. I suppose it's never too early if you shop sales.
It would be nice if having Christmas season all year long meant that people had the "Christmas Spirit" all year long too.......but, alas, that's not going to happen.

I love Christmas though with very little money I give economical gifts. Usually we make cookies and fudge and give that as gifts. Oh and food baskets like spaghetti sauce, pasta, french bread, and stuff like that, wrap it pretty in a real basket and it looks real good but didn't cost so much. We get the baskets at the thrift store for cheap. And people have seemed happy to get them so, going to continue that tradition.

I love Christmas too, the time does fly by... I havent started shopping early but it is a good idea.

I start my Christmas shopping the day after Christmas. I usually have everything except a few odds and ends by Black Friday.

are you kidding me?? I've got lots to worry about before Christmas rolls around again. Last year, our Target had Christmas decorations up at the end of June. And, the Hallmark stores usually put out ornaments in July.

This morning when I was walking with my son, we passed a house, where they still had their Christmas flag out, or should I say already?

A few weeks ago, we passed some Halloween decorations:)

Its to early to worry about Christmas. I like to try and take stress in small doses, not year round.

I always start my shopping early. With the exception of a few small things, I'm usually finished before December. I've found the best time to shop is during the back to school sales when the majority of the stores at the malls are having sales. I also buy a lot of things online.
