St. Thomas USVI - Flowers - Caribbean Princess Cruise

I took so many flower photos when I was in St. Thomas.  A lot of them are from the butterfly conservatory.  I have 48 photos here and then 40 more with butterflies so I thought I'd split them up into two photo essays, this one for the flowers only.  Of course I have no idea what the names are, just that they are beautiful flowers which add to the beauty of the island.

So many varieties and colors, this island seemed to have more flowers than any of the others.

I hope you'll take a few moments to view the slide show since all the photos are not posted in the article.

I'm very bad with "tropicals"... With the exception of the hibiscus (which you already named), the bougainvilla (#7), what appears to be mimosas (Nos. 9, 11 & 14), either a "ti" plant or a yucca (#12), a lavendar trumpet vine (#16), an orchid (#19), some type of photinia? (#20) and that's all the photos that didn't come out as little, red "x"es on my stupid dial-up connection...

I love all of these, - they are absolutely beautiful, especially the first one and the yellow flowers with the burgundy!! The 10th picture from the bottom looks like our state flower....yellow jessamine!!

A delightful essay - I had to see if it involved flowers and I wasn't disappointed. I know them all except for the white flower in the tree. I have a red variety and didn't know those puffball come in white too.
