Here are the last of the photos from Tortola where we went snorkeling and to a very nice beach. I really enjoyed this island and could have easily spent another day here. I would have loved to taken a taxi tour to see more beaches and the beautiful mountains. I hope to return here one day.
Scenes of the island taken from the catamaran.

Rocks, coral and shells found on the beach.

More from the beach.

Plant life that grows on those mountains. I zoomed in from the beach to see what was unique.

More water scenes. There's no shortage of boats in Tortola.

Taxis and mini buses for taking the tourist on different trips. This island was the only one that really went all out decorating their transportation vehicles.

We sail off into the sunset.

So ends our stop in Tortola, we were sad to leave this beautiful island. I hope once again you will take a moment to view the photos as a slide show since I did not include all of them in the article.
Next stop is St. Thomas USVI! Hope to see you there.

Looks like it's got a bit of everything........... sand, rocks, mountains, ruggedness.
Those last few photos are especially beautiful!
I loved the coral and pebble photos.

Thanks for the comments, as always they are much appreciated.
Now... about some of those rocks - they look like petrified digits (like fingers and toes!!)
Even the rocks were interesting!!
I've never heard of this place but it sure looks wonderful, I wonder if many of the cruise ships stop there.
you were lucky to take those shells home...hehe... good for you... love and hugs...
Your photo essays are so amazing!
