Grist Mill Autumn Sunset Light

I waited for at least 3 or 4 hours to get this shot.

Moving around and trying to get the right angle.

I tried and tried to get the shot to frame right with my SLR but the 28 mm lens would not frame the scene right.

So this was taken with a Point and Shoot Canon G9.

Even though the water was low the shot turned out ok.

Maybe next year the water will be higher and I will have a better lens for my SLR to share with you.

lovely shot ....... glad you posted this pic within an article ..... it appears that the only way to feature a picture in the group is if it is within an article ....... can't wait to see this shot next fall .... hope the water levels are where you want them to be .....

I'm glad you took the time to get this shot. It's gorgeous. I have always wanted to take a drive there to get some photos. I'm sure my photos would not turn out this well so thanks for sharing.

What a splendid shot! If I could have given you 100 stars I would have.

I had to sit and take in all of the wonders in this photo. Exceptional in every sense of the word. I would love to visit this locale. ;)
