On the Road Again: Savannah Here I Come!

I really wanted to go to the Smoky Mountains but my daughter was not happy about that destination so I decided that since I live close to the Smokies I could go pretty much anytime for an overnighter or weekend.  I had wanted to go to Savannah this spring but it didn't work out so I suggested Savannah as an alternative and it pleased both my daughter and hubby.

We head out tomorrow morning but plan on taking it easy and making a few stops along the way.  The trip to Savannah, from my home, is a pretty boring ride once we get passed Macon but I hope for a few photo ops in Dublin and a few other towns that I have yet to visit.  We also hope to make a day trip and visit Jekyll and St. Simon's Island.  The Georgia coast is a pretty place.

I don't know how much time I will have to keep up with comments and such so please don't think I am ignoring you if you don't see any comments from me in the next week.

Oh, I just noticed my first Gatherversary is tomorrow.  Wow, one year already!  The photo is of a grasshopper that was on my mailbox today.

There's a Dublin near here where all the people are stupid and think they're actually Irish. They're just confused, rich, white people.

I here the Dublin here was actually settled by Irish but who knows.
This one may have been founded by someone Irish, but now it's just a 'burb for the whitest people.
