Photo sharing sites?

Besides Gather of course.

Do you use any of the free photo sharing sites? There seem to be quite a few, and maybe some names we haven't heard of before. They are offering more and more 'extras', including certain types of editing and formatting. Some have videos. Some you can make private albums and share with family. They are easy ways to get extra pictures on ebay, blogs, or other sites. Some offer bargains on making prints.

I currently use Photobucket. Which on-line photo sites have you tried? Good or bad?

I've only used flickr as a sharing site. I know that I've signed up for others, but do use Picnik every now and again for quick photo editing. I think they are a photo sharing site as well. Sorry I don't have more information.

I have used multiple sites for a variety of purposes. Each site has its own advantages and disadvantages. Some allow hosting (like Photobucket), and others are better at sharing with specific friends or family (like Kodak or Picasa). Also, some will provide a full photographic print service.

The options are numerous. Therefore, it can take a little research to find the one that is the best fit for your needs.

I've used Photobucket and Flickr. I kind of prefer Photobucket.

I use photobucket, and Flickr, also Dropshots.

Flickr only lets you put so many on per month, so I don't use it often since I take sooo many pics. Photobucket I have 3 or 4 accounts because they only hold so many photos alltogether before you can't fit any more. It used to be unlimited storage for free, now you have to pay if you want unlimited storage. So since I have a few different email adressses and so does hubby when one photobucket gets full I start another one on one of our other emails.
Family that is far away rely on photobucket to see pics of us and Maddie and emailing pics takes too long and takes up their email space..

I like photobucket but I don't use it for sharing so much. I like Snapfish, Comcast, and Shutterfly.

I have a photobucket but I only use it for my ebay stuff. I don't like how it works, it's harder for me up upload stuff, etc.
I do all my photo editing on my computer with a program called Photosuite 8.

Thanks for the input on photo sharing sites. I'm sure each has a useful advantage. Sharing instead of emailing is a good one. For editing, I prefer my own computer, and have about 5 different (free) programs for various activities.
