Guess who I met?

   I knew a gather friend was coming to North Carolina for thank's giving to be with her son.I knew it would not be to far away from me.So we emailed and set a plan and I waited for Saturday to get here.I never remembered it to take so long for a day to get here.
    I have over 600 friends and she was one of the first ones.Saturday came and I could not help but watch the clock,11:00 the phone rung and she said they had just left her son's and would be here.I could not wait.I waited at the door knowing it would be at least an hour and ahalf.I could not help myself.
     I guess I should have told you that my turkey did not get done on thanks givings day lol thats another story! I made pumkin pie friday night for this visitor and cut the recipe in half.You hope that its good and you don't burn it.
     I watched as a car pulled into the drive and yes they are here!We both had big smiles.We had a wonderful visit,I can tell you now I can not ever have Charles take a picture that is important again,as he just clicked with no warning.So I have what he did and no smile.

 The pet children meeting,they were so good.



Brian,Kricket and Susan. We had a wonderful visit.Kricket came baring gifts for Sassy and I can not get a picture as she will lay it down if I get the camera.She does not want anyone to know that she has chew toys.(So don't tell)I got the best gift of all meeting a real gather friend and wild flower seeds.
   I hate that we did not have more time to visit,but rain was coming in and they still had about 4 hours to drive.We are going to get there in a few  weeks for another visit.We had a great day.
   I know Susan will post a post about out visit and she has more pictures.

 I want you all to have a great gather day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Who knows we all may get to meet one day!

How great that you were able to meet a gather friend in real life! :) I think it would be neat if some of the gatherers in my area had a gather-ING! and spent time together... But hey, it's really nice that you two got a great visit.
The pets are soooo cute! I love bostons especially. :)

Awwww this was soooooooooo sweet and I love the pictures - you guys are so cute together one really tall and the other not so tall - I'm on the short side meself.
I love that Gather gives folks the opportunity to meet so many neat folks!!! Looks like a great visit and I'm glad the doggies got along...I'm an animal person too and dogs don't always like each other....
