Hmmm...I've never had a weird pet name. I've always been called Rob, Bob or Apple; the English version of my surname originally in German (Apfel - German for 'apple'). I had a puppy once I named Bubbles. He'd foam at the mouth and make bubbles when he got car sick. I had a cat called Butcher, because she used to love to catch little critters and present them to me after she killed them. Another cat was called Renne (Ren'-ee; not Ren-ay') because I found her as a kitten in the parking lot of a club I used to tend bar at called Renegades. (If it had been a boy kitty; I would have named him Gader.) My most recent cat was named Fugi (Fyoo'-gee; not Foo'-gee); short for Fugitive. I rescued him from the streets when he was a kitten. His official name was F.N. Kat.
I had a cat named Initial when I was a kid, everyone always said that was weird, so I'm glad I'm not the only one out there that came up with something different
The weirdest name to me must be "Vice" he was a Pit Bull and Great Dane Mix. Needless to say that was my Husbands dog before we got together! I also had a Rottweiler mixed with Pit bull ,my baby, named T-bone. But I thought that was a cute name, but hubby over here thinks THAT was a weird name. What do you think?
I had some hogs one time , and there was some little piglets My three kids picked out a pig for a pet one was Adam, one was Hoss, and the other was Little Joe, of the Cartwright family.
I read the question wrong at first. I thought you wanted weird pet names as in "Sugarbutt" or "Muffinpie" like you would call your spouse, but I guess you are looking for pet's names. Mine are all relatively normal I think? My first dog was Babe (a boxer). My second dog was already named when we got her from the pound Susie (cocker spaniel). Now I have Kasey (cocker spaniel) and Wally (full name Hole In The Wall Torry), Lita and Bella the cats.
