Playing in the snow

Yesterday was warmer than it has been for a while.  My toddler kept saying he wanted to go outside, so we finally gave in.  It was about 20 degrees with no wind.  The sun was shining brightly.

 We bundled Elliott up in his snowsuit and snowboots, put on Trixie's sweater (she won't go outside without some kind of shirt on during the winter), and out the door we went.  Elliott had so much fun!  He ate some snow and chased Trixie and Blackie around for a while.  He was having a blast until he chased Trixie into a snowdrift and they both fell on.  It hit Elliott about waist high, and Trixie completely disappeared!  We had to pull them both out and take them inside.

 It got to about 20 degrees again today, but we had wind.  Elliott only asked to go outside once.  It's supposed to stay warmer this week, though, so maybe we will go out again soon.
