I thought I'd share some photos of our local St. Patricks Day parade. These were taken by my mother and my sister.
My father drives his 1967 Cadillac to lead the Irish Wheaten Terrier Club. My sister and her children walk with their Wheaten "Harry" as he pulls his cart of gold!
Dad cruising in his St. Patty's Day hat.

Mom getting the camera ready.

Dad and our good friend Judy, strike a pose.

Judy and her husband Scott.

My nephew Adam, happily hands out candy along the parade route.

My doggie nephew Harry, pulls his cart with his pot of gold.

Mom getting a little wild and crazy!

Another couple of shots of dad driving his pride and joy Caddie.

Harry takes a break, pulling all that gold is hard work!

Mom hitting on a scruffy old Hillbilly, I think she's writing down his phone number! Go mama go!

Dad and Scott.

My sister and her children.

Look at that crowd!

Hey Harry, come back here with that gold!

THE END.

And I used to work with a girl whose mother bred Wheatens. Expensive dogs.
And some people have the mistaken idea you can't rescue a purebred.
that's really cool all the caring dog lovers in your family...tell 'em thanks from another doggy lover...
Thank you Randee.
Hi Kevin, lol, too funny isn't it. I like the animal pelts hanging out of his pockets.
Thanks.
John, I think the Irish were so oppressed that they tried to do things here to show that they were a stong people with pride in their heritage,no matter what the rest of the population thought of them. I dunno, that could be way off.
Thanks Lori, I like it too.
good pictures in your photo essay.
