Last night, the air conditioner broke. I have to wait 8 hours until someone can get here. I live in the desert, not a community. It's soooooooooooooo beastly hot. I was going to fix the computer today, but, had to cancel.
Hope y'all are cooler than me.

Oh my! We had no a/c from Thursday night till Tuesday late morning. We were fortunate that there was a lot of cloud cover and rain for most of that time, and we suffered, but it was bareable. Monday was the worst and it did hit 85 in the house, even with ceiling fans. That was tough.
Keep cool as you can, please, it's so bad when you have to deal with that.

Luckily it is cooler here right now because my air conditioner went out and I have to go get a new one! I hope that yours is fixed soon!

Oh my gosh, Margieanne.....that's horrible.....I cannot imagine 101 degree temperatures......here it's sooo cool......not even quite 70 degrees and quite chilly!!!!!! We've only had our air on a couple of times so far. I sure hope and pray you get your AC fixed....and very soon. This morning I had to wear a jacket outdoors....such weird weather!

that's hot around here it gets hot but with high humidty and your body never cools off, it's pretty miserable when it gets like that here.
It is actually kind of cool here. Hopefully we will NOT use the central air for about another month
I hope this never happens to any of you. It gives you a headache and heart palpatations.
I guess that's hot, but I lived in Osaka where daily Summer temperatures were often near or over 100 and the humidity was almost always above 80%. We had no air conditioning and only a small fan. I quickly learned that loose fiiting cotton clothes and shade was needed. I hope things are back to normal. If not, you can always protest like Lady Godiva.

I'm sorry to hear that. It must be horrible being out there in that heat without AC. Hopefully they've been out to fix it, or will soon.

Oh my god that would suck. I hate heat like that. I'd be out spraying myself with the garden hose or adding ice cubes to bathwater.
