There´s a really expansive quality to the vision of love that seems to stretch the horizons around the speaker and his beloved. The quality of playfulness in the poem redeems any traces of sentimentality that seem old-fashioned at first glance in some of the lusher use of language---tho I still think you can find stronger word choice to replace ¨daring whispers, pretty flowers, oceans of your love, lovely passion¨, William, since the rest of the poem is fresh in its inner near rhymes, as well as this masterly staccato signature style that is your own unique personal voice now.

Delicious little ribbons of light pulled through the sweet moments of love and the dazzling aspects of passion~your words compositions are so eclectic and deliciously unique, I fall every time into their vortex, and sometimes I dissect and and really try to crawl into the eyes that visualize these journey's and sometimes I just fall, gladly =D

"kisses meant forever"
this part of your poem made me think of kisses given/received by me to the one I loved so much and thought that the love will last forever.

This is the framework of the poem I published then deleted. I have rewritten this five or six times and I must concur with John that some of my word choices are weak and wanting. I love the message of positive love my verse expresses, but this was simply very difficult to write.

The most perfect love is necessarily fleeting, but can be preserved intact within the glass case of the memory--or the music of a perfect poem. This is one time I can use the Gather cliche "Thanks for sharing," and I think you'll understand it's not a cliche.

I can see the great amount of effort that was put into the writing of this poem. However, I sometimes find that sort of prolonged, difficult composition to ultimately be very rewarding, even if I desert the piece in the end.

I admire a great deal of the imagery at work here; there's a fine, daring mind that can be discerned behind every verse and rhyme. I appreciate your grappling with this timeless theme.
