34 years of marriage and still going strong!

My parents have been married 34 years today!  Which I think is amazing because so many marriages don't last nearly as long!  I'm happy to say that they are still happily married and have never been apart!

34 years, 3 children and 3 grandchildren can make for a happy life together!

 

My husband and I have been married for 9 1/2 years and 34 years seems to be so far out there!

Happy Anniversary to your parents. Mine celebrated their 37th year in May. It is amazing that mine lasted all these years without killing each other. ha ha ha

I remember when I had been married 9-9 1/2 years. Don't blink. Your 34th will be here in no time.

Wow, that is a long time, these days. Sad but true. 9 1/2 years is a good long while too! My husband and I have been married for almost 8 years, and yeah, it seems like forever - but not in a bad way.

Congrats to them. My parents have been married for 46 years on the 12th. But they aren't going strong...they live in seperate parts of the house and don't sleep in the same bed and hardly talk unless its yelling at each other about money.
Not the way I want to spend 46 years of my life... :)

My parents will celebrate there 50th anniversary next July so like you I have seen what it takes to keep a marriage together for the long term. Next April, Leigh and I will celebrate our twentith anniversary and they said it would never last.
