Disappointing Photo Ops

Tonight I had another dissappointment with my photos. We were on our way home from my father in law's when we came across a flock of wild turkeys crossing the road. Hubby stopped and I whipped my camera out of my pocket. They were on his side of the road so he was trying to take the pics. He only took two and they came out very dark. There were at least 14 turkeys that I could count. Granted it was dusk, but we could see them all so clearly. Yuo can barely make out the blobs in the picture.

I had a similar thing happen a couple months ago. My digital was broken and I hadn't replaced it yet, so I was using my 35mm. I was at my brother's house and one evening a herd of 17 deer came out in his back yard. I snapped a couple photos and when I got the photos back, those two negatives were blank. I couldn't believe it!

Tonight's fiasco got me to thinking that I've had more than one issue like this. I'd love to hear everyone else's stories of photos gone wrong!
