I checked snopes and didn't find anything to dispute this.
In her senior thesis at Princeton, Michele Obama, the wife of Barack Obama stated that America was a nation founded on "crime and hatred". Moreover, she stated that whites in America were "ineradicably racist".
The 1985 thesis, titled "Princeton-Educated Blacks and the Black Community" was written under her maiden name, Michelle LaVaughn Robinson.
Michelle Obama stated in her thesis that to "Whites at Princeton, it often seems as if to them, she will always be Black first..." However, it was reported by a fellow black classmate, "If those Whites at Princeton" really saw Michelle as one who always would "be Black first," it seems that she gave them that impression".
Most alarming is Michele Obama's use of the terms "separationist" and "integrationist" when describing the views of black people.
Mrs. Obama clearly identifies herself with a "separationist" view of race.
"By actually working with the Black lower class or within their communities as a result of their ideologies, a separationist may better understand the desperation of their situation and feel more hopeless about a resolution,as opposed to an integrationist who i s ignorant to their plight."
Obama writes that the path she chose by attending Princeton would likely lead to her "further integration and/or assimilation into a white cultural and social structure that will only allow me to remain on the periphery of society; never becoming a full participant."
Michele Obama clearly has a chip on her shoulder.
Not only does she see separate black and white societies in America, but she elevates black over white in her world.
Here is another passage that is uncomfortable and ominous in meaning:
"There was no doubt in my mind that as a member of the black community, I am obligated to this community and will utilize all of my present and future resources to benefit the black community first and foremost. "
What is Michelle Obama planning to do with her future resources if she's first lady that will elevate black over white in America?
The following passage appears to be a call to arms for affirmative action policies that could be the hallmark of an Obama administration.
"Predominately white universities like Princeton are socially and academically designed to cater to the needs of the white students comprising the bulk of their enrollments."
The conclusion of her thesis is alarming.
Michelle Obama's poll of black alumni concludes that other black students at Princeton do not share her obsession with blackness. But rather than celebrate, she is horrified that black alumni identify with our common American culture more than they value the color of their skin.
"I hoped that these findings would help me conclude that despite the high degree of identification with whites as a result of the educational and occupational path that black Princeton alumni follow, the alumni would still maintain a certain level of identification with the black community. However, these findings do not support this possibility."
Is it no wonder that most black alumni ignored her racist questionnaire? Only 89 students responded out of 400 who were asked for input.
Michelle Obama does not look into a crowd of Obama supporters and see Americans. She sees black people and white people eternally conflicted with one another.
The thesis provides a trove of Mrs. Obama's thoughts and world view seen through a race-based prism.
This is a very divisive view for a potential first lady that would do untold damage to race relations in this country in a Barack Obama administration.
Michelle Obama's intellectually refined racism should give all Americans pause for deep concern.
Now maybe she's changed, but she sure sounds like someone with an axe to grind with America.
Will the press let Michelle get a free pass over her obviously racist comment about American whites? I am sure that it will. But it shouldn't.
PS: We paid for her scholarship.

Why oh why are we being given the choice of picking a President from one of the three least qualified and able to fulfill the office of President?
So now Terry is a mind reader to know whats in her heart. How very sad. One can condeme a person for having an opinion and feelings and as long as they do not hae those rose colored glasses on they must be hateful and wrong. I dare say we don't need a president nor a first lady. Just build a robot and program all those sweet words you'd prefer to hear instead of honest opinion and feelings which just may cause some intelligent people to think, dialog and perhaps make soome positive changes in our country. But as long as no one is allowed to criticize America and still love it who the hell needs dialog. Just turn the robot on and let it play the same old ignorance we have been wallowing in for too long.
I hope you enjoy living in such a sad state of affairs. I don't.
I agree with Spencer here. To effect change, you have to identify the problems. Why are people so insistent in saying that you cannot love this country and criticize it at the same time?
The only people who can take pride in being Americans are the ones who immigrated here and became naturalized citizens. They are the ones who can justly say they are proud to be American. I can only say that I am lucky to be an American. I might have been born a menber of a minority ( a woman or black or Jewish or been one of those Americans whose ancestors came from Japan and I could have spent my first four years in a concentration camp ) and then I would not have been so lucky to be an American. Being American is only good luck for some of us, not for all. Any Black American who has suffered from discrimination ( as virtually all Black adults have ) has evey reason to be somewhat resentful of the praise they hear for a nation that has treated them and their families badly.
!985, let's see, that's 23 years ago by my calculations. What were you doing 23 years ago? Have you changed at all? Has the country changed at all? Have you ever been black in America at any time in your life?
Perhaps you didn't realize that the civil rights movement actually started due to the horrible treatment of blacks in America? It hasn't always been about about a woman's right to choose and gay pride, like it is now.
White people need to open their hearts and try to understand the decades of torment. Were any of your ancestors hanged from a tree because of the color of their skin?
This is ridiculous, for craps sakes.
I for one don't want a president that "is totally committed to Africa" I want one that is TOTALLY COMMITTED TO AMERICA.
Spin it any way you want, the Obama's are racist.
Oh, by the way I'm Black And I'm Proud say it loud, I'm Black And I'm Proud.
Sen. Obama is the enlighten one but believe in what you will fear not but go in peace and understand this no justice no peace, no justice no peace! And black people have fought in every war for this country and they still are out to lynch you when you speak the truth. Mrs. Obama got her education and has worked in the black community to help others and she ask her fellow aulmni to do the same and you kick sand in her face. But I still call you my family I of the darker hue still call America my home and will fight for my place at the table till the end of time and if you think I'm quiting this race you better think twice.
Ya! I said it we ani't going no where unless we all go together cause if you didn't have us this wouldn't be America. Can you dig it!
You can fly the flag in your front yard, sing god bless America, so what and you still no better than the next Tim McViegh, hey I don't hear ya! say something anything, not now, so explain Lt. Cally or torture.
I can be Muslim or practice homosexuality and kiss my lover goodnite it is my right as American and it does not make less American.
Flag waving hypocrites. I stand because I chose too and my respect is real. You can have Sean Hannity and Rush Lambaugh give me that ex-Marine Rev. Wright any day that's right he served his country and pay taxes too, so he has a right to say what he wants too.
Tolerance is the key to a better tommrow and we all need to be little more humble in how we characterize each other, cause today maybe your last day, if the truth be told.
You're lucky all right, that people like that, my father, and friends helped provide what you enjoy. Sleep well tonight in peace, there are men and women out there covering your butt!
(sorry, but you hit a nerve with that needle)
And they called Rev. King a rebel because he walk and talked about freedom, and he stood with Ceasar Chavez in Salinas valley working for the rights of field workers, he held hands with Gandhi and understood you don't need weapons of violence to start a revolution, you just need to speak the truth.
So call Mrs. Obama, anti this or that, it won't stop this freedom train. You couldn't stop it then, and you folks, you know who you are, those from the Dark Side won't stop this train today.
