might be moving out of my parents house soon, and it's a little scary!!! My sister is trying to buy her first house, and she asked me to move in with her. My sister promised I would be treated like a roomate and not like a younger sister. She said she isn't going to give me any rules or boss me around, nothing like that.
She also said that all I have to pay for is rent (and I have my car insuarance)...but I don't have to pay for food, the tv...anything like that. I am still a little worried about the money and how much I'll have left over to put into savings, but my sister said she'll lower my rent if I need her to or if it gets too hard for me to pay for it.
There is ONE issue I am worried about...even though my sister said I am roomate and I get no rules-this still might arise a trouble. My sister said I can bring my cat, which is great (lets hope our cats get along!) But something else that is very important to me is that I own a dog. I have Never not owned a dog in my life, I grew up with them. And I don't know how long I'll be able to go without getting my own dog. And all true dog lovers know how hard it is to live without one. Now, my sister has 2 little girls (5 and 7) but they are around my moms dogs ALL the time, so I'm just hoping she doesn't try to use them as an excuse for her not wanting me to have one. Now, I have always wanted to adopt a pitbull, but I know that will NEVER happen, my sister won't allow a pitbull near her kids. I'll make peace with that for now, as long as I can get a dog! That is very important to me! Any advice how to bring up the subject, or make her agree to me getting one would be appreciated! Thanks!!

Holly, I am going to wait as long as I can to bring it up to her...maybe a month, if I can lol. But now something has come up, there is a dog at my work (a petshotel) that needs a home now, so I might have to ask her about it sooner. And if i can talk her into coming to see him she'll fall in love with him, he's a great dog!
