Sadly, I have had a chronic problem of only 5 hours of sleep for nearly a week now. My sleep debt is adding up very quickly.

Hi Dan, just working on 2nd cup offcoffee. Now getting ready to work on the online marketing for our book. Got to figure our which way we are headed today. Must do some more reading in the book: "Sell your book on Amazon." Then there are a couple of other books, one of which is: "Plug your book." An online marketing book for authors.
Lot of great information in just then for any of you authors.

Being retired it is easy to spend whatever time is needed.

Developmental psychology--so I can figure everyone out! LOL Looking forward to the wkend, going up to Tallahassee for a FSU game, little tail-gatin, football, and beer!! Happy hump day all!!!!!

Selena and I just walked the puppy up to the gas station on the corner and splurged on a soda and some chips. We're home alone today as my husband has jury duty and the other kids are in school. The youngest is on "year-round" school and has a vacation now until after Thanksgiving.

Morning DAn! I was up at five. Had my coffee. I went to Bible study. Now I am writing you. Next I am writing the head of our Medical Clinic to expression my anger at my son being charged $92 just to check in to get a cut on his chin looked at. Then another $128 for super glue on the cut.

Well, lessee, today is really gonna be a challenge. I'm thinkin (only thinkin) about goin down to the fillin station and watch the hoist go up and down. I'm already workin up a sweat just thinkin about it.

Maybe tomorrow, if not too tired from the activity of today, I'll go down to the town square and pick out one of them thar benches to sit on and do a little spittin and whittlein.

Coffee and alka seltser cold. If I could put the two together I would. Still mainly in promotion mode for books and web site. Goal is to get 5000 hits on risingstarauthors.com site in November, so I keep plugging it.(in case no one noticed)
Waiting on last two review copies of book number three to come back from my edit friends. I will make any required changes and go for the final draft. Book four is 75% written.(I have been slacking)

We're (Dallas, Texas) supposed to be having a cold front come through here this afternoon that will bring the temperatures down from 78 degrees to the low 60's in the early evening. Then tonight we're supposed to get down into the low 40's or even high 30's which would be a delight considering we have been having spring like weather still in mid NOVEMBER!! Anyone want to trade weather patterns out there??

Good morning. My day began with meditation, and a leg massage. Feels great. My breakfast was Rasin Bran and Vanilla Soy Milk with bananas. The weather where I live is neither hot, nor cold. Just plain beautiful with a pleasent brisk air, model early fall morning. Now, I need to unclutter my space.

Today I am moderating on Freecycle a lot and supervising home study, cleaning, laundry, writing my next article for gather and hopefully taking more pictures outside.

The Blood Center doesn't compensate but in an effort to keep donors coming back they give restaurant gift certificates, t-shirts, movie tickets, etc. They also have blood drives in high school where the students who donate receive a free gift. They are going to be doing points now where each time you donate you get points awarded then you can go to their online redemption store and redeem points for different rewards, like USB flash drives, sudoku games, duffel bags, etc.

Good morning = at least it's still morning here on the West Coast ... so I'm late as usual!!

It's only 8:45 here :)

So I'm still snuggling with kitty under my comforter. It was a little chilly last night, but at least the wind storm passed and we didn't lose power this time :)

So far so good Leah, only second week of my class so I will keep you posted. Right now we are looking at the role of cartoons in regards to children's perception of gender roles. Should be fun, least I get to watch a few hours of cartoons for the next four weeks as part of the assignment... lol

Just got home from the hospital. My daughter gave birth to my 4th grandkidder. He weighs 7lb 3oz - 20 inches long. Born at 9:26am today, Wednesday Nov, 14, 2007. So that's my day so far...... Yipee

O.k. I am really late but I took off first thing this morning and did not have time to check my gather e-mails. I went to one of our newest houses to start plastering the walls and paint. The electrictions finally have light to half the house so that made it a little easier to see what I was doing. My hubby is trying to reconnect all the plumbing to get water to the place as well. I just love these houses with all the copper pipes and copper wire ripped out of them. We are seeing lots of the houses this way. People are desparate to eat and pay their bills that they are targeting all the empty houses. Copper is worth a fortune.
