1 or 2 pkg Cook chicken breast (cut into bite size pieces)
2 cans of Chicken stock
1 can of carrots (with juice) *peas and carrots are also good*
2 or 3 chopped celery stalks *celery seed is a great substitute*
1 can of grands original biscuits
Salt and Pepper to taste
In a 5qrt pan add a little butter and chopped celery stalks once they have started to sweat add 2 cans of chicken broth then fill each can with water pour that in add carrots bring to a boil over mediem heat. While that is heating pull out your handy dandy chopping board. Cut each biscuit into 6 or 8 pieces and roll into balls. When your broth begins a light boil add your little biscuit balls. As you biscuits cook into dumplins the chicken broth turns nice and thick . In just under an hr you have a wonderful hearty meal to take the chill out of any cold day!
*Whatever you do don't put a lid on your pan after adding biscuits.*
This makes aprox. 6 to 8 bowls.

I must try this recipe.
I just use chicken boil then put the biscuits torn up into water and use bisquick and follow the dumplin recipe on that and salt and pepper.. omg soo good!
