I won a $50. Visa card on www.RedGage.com the night of July 4th, in their daily contest. I received it early in the week and had been trying to decide how to use it. I did not want to use it on a 'need', but wanted it to be a treat. So that is what I decided to do, treat the family to a special dinner and dessert that we would not normally find affordable in our budget.

The cake my husband had purchased for me from Publix for Mother's Day was still fresh in our memories as it was just so delicious, and my teen has been telling me how delicious the specialty subs they make at the Deli counter smell as he's packing them up for customers.

Expensive, but so so worth it.
So, today, teenguy needed to go to work for one hour only for a meeting, so we left him off then headed to the bakery and deli counters to start making our picks for the night. I knew the teenguy said the sandwich that really seemed good to him was some type of boneless chicken sub. So I explained to the woman at the Deli counter that he was a bagger and all he could tell me was 'boneless chicken' and she knew immediately what he wanted. She made sure she fixed it nice for him.

My husband chose a Cuban sandwich for himself and my Mother In Law

And I was undecided as I was still not the least bit hungry since we had gone to a Mexican Restaurant for lunch. So, hubby mentioned they had my favorite, Philly Steak and Cheese and that's what I got. She even grilled the onions and did a lovely job on my sub also.

Total cost........$43.08! Was it worth it? Oh, heck yeah!!!
Thank you RedGage.
