typing with a cat on your hands!!!

I have been having some technical difficulites with my computer!! it is called catsittingonmykeyboard&hand disease!! Yes Mushy has decided that she must sit on the keyboard and mouse while I attempt to come on here...so I have abdicated my throne...she won!! I went into the other room with the new computer no one uses!! What a pleasure typing and not having to lift a tail up to see where the keys are!!

I love that cat so much, and it is an honor to have her love me back so much that she needs to lay on my hands. But every once in awhile..I need that break!! so this is my silly post of the week... I know there are more out there going thru the same thing!!

Our kittehs aren't allowed by the computer. Or on any furniture for that matter. Kitteh hair is disastrous.

Oh yes, I can relate to this. But mine are usually in my lap or want to be held. It makes typing very interesting. Right now there is only one on my lap so its not too hard to type. I keep the keyboard in until I am ready to use it, then I pull it out. Heaven forbid I hit them with the keyboard, then I get that disgusted look. LOL

Oh yes. I've experienced this very thing. Calypso also sits right in front of the monitor and tries to grab the cursor or the letters as I type. It's entertaining, but very annoying, especially on days when I'm working from home and not just on my computer to kill some time. You know: for such a little cat, she sure does a great job of blocking the *entire* screen.

lol - no cat but usually kids in the morning who want to "sit with me" lol never works out well :) but you just can't refuse the love

When I was homeschooled, I used the computer a lot for school work. My kitten used to go under the desk and come up behind it and swat at my hand every time I touched the mouse! He was always very playful, but my right hand was scratched up.

Now my westie sits under my feet at the desk, and I feel like I'm constantly stepping on her.

Zorro, my little dog, insists on sitting on my chest when I am at the computer. He curls himself up under my neck and will paw at me if I dont cuddle him. Most of the time I end up getting a blanky and wrapping it around me with him in it like a sling just so I can get some work done. He will curl up there and just sleep for however long I am there.

Sounds like my cats. They insist on walking on the keyboard, and in front of the monitor. They also like to sit by my mouse so I can barely move it, along with sitting on my lap; which I actually dont mind :-)

I know what you mean. Sometimes I have to get the cat off my head just to get out of bed in the morning.
