Ok, I like to give things away! I think I probably overwhelmed my new son-in-law yesterday!
My oldest daughter and her husband came over yesterday for a Christmas dinner a date late. So she looks at the pile of presents and realizes his is bigger than hers!
She tells me that this is just plain wrong! But I have to explain...your stuff cost more that is why his pile bigger!
I bought him a couple of sweatshirts, a couple of long sleeve shirts, a short sleeve tee, a plush comfy Izod Robe (that I was thinking.. I want this!) plush fleece lounge pants(again those stealing thoughts entered), then I threw in an Entertainment book and a Dockers wallet set and a bottle of Nesquik Chocolate syrup!
For my daughter ..I got her a safe, vaccumm, body building powder and some shirts and a Christmas box(my giant version of a stocking) filled with goodies. I also got her a jewerly set and slippers.
When I handed him the presents..he looked dumbfounded! Of course I joked that this just the Welcome to Family first christmas ..and next year you get one!
What made us really laugh...she bought her father the same stuff I did! and her husband was wearing shirts I orginally was going to buy! Then she gave me a pair of slippers from Bath and Body works..that was the exact same ones I was going to give her...but gave it to her sister instead. I had found the bunny slippers she had wanted!
