I had a feeling that this movie would be great to me. I know it didn't get all the kudo's from the critics..but hey..ya know what...I loved it!

Nicole Kidman is great, she plays this English Lady who goes looking for her husband in Australia only to find out he has been murdered. She asks Hugh Jackman , who is this rugged outdoorsy man's man cattle driver to assist her in still going forward with a cattle drive. Jackman was supposed to take them on that drive but all the cattle has been let out by a rival cattle rancher.

The people on the ranch team up to make the impossible possible. Of course along the way feelings start to come into play...she gets less stuffy and he starts caring about people.

I learned about Australia's horrible assimilation program. How they treated the natives horribly, and how the Japanese bombed their country as well as ours. (this movie takes place in the late 30's- early 40's)
The movie was long but I felt as if I could keep watching even longer. The views were amazing. Australia is a beautiful country.
