When our children still lived at home, we had a Thanksgiving Eve candlelighting ceremony. We would share what we were thankful for as we lit our candles one by one. Then we would have a time of prayer and singing praises to God. This was always a touching time, as we had a chance to hear what was on the hearts of each, and to hear how thankful we were to God and for each other.
Every Thanksgiving Eve, our church also goes roller skating together. We rent the local roller rink, and have a great time skating and visiting.
Anothr Thanksgiving tradition we have is eating pumpkin pie for breakfast. I have always loved pumpkin pie, and it always seemed like I was too full to really enjoy it after a big Thanksgiving meal. Having it for breakfast allows us to enjoy every bite, and even enjoy seconds without feeling too full...and who wouldn't love having dessert for breakfast!
Please share some of your Thanksgiving traditions!

My family hasn't really adopted any traditions yet. My husband is in the military so we are too far from home to enjoy the traditions I grew up with. And this will just be our little one's second Thanksgiving, so of course last year he was too little to participate. We're trying to come up with some good holiday traditions this year, though.
Our family usually get together at mom's for Thanksgiving. But I think your Thanksgiving tradition is wonderful.
One tradition I do for my older son, Dylan, who spends thanksgiving with his Dad's family is to make him a pumpkin pie just for him. He can have all the leftovers when he comes home.
