Good afternoon, everybody! Today's check-in -- another reasonably successful day. 1855 words today, for a cumulative total of 9451.
More brand-new ways to attempt to procrastinate today, but the good thing is, the urge to procrastinate eventually wore itself off and I got to work only a little late.
I found the hardest moment in writing is when a scene is finished and the next one not yet started. I have a long list of scenes, but haven't decided in what order to do all of them.
Fortunately I got the idea of putting up a second scene list, this one in order as I write them and with a clear indication of pov, what happens and function of the scene. That way, I can scan the list and see, ok, I know what stage the story is at.
Hopefully, that'll make it easier to get started each moment, and help me transition from scene to scene.
