"Where did you get your political sticker?", I asked a man as we walked down the street. Our community has a major event once a year where blocks of downtown streets are barracaded so drivers may not enter, and everyone walks up and down the streets finding fun things to do. I was pushing my grandson in his stroller and we were on a mission to see every booth and activity. The streets were very crowded and pushing a stroller is a challenge with so many people, so I didn't want to miss the political booth. I really wanted one of those stickers.
To my disappointment, the man informed me that the political tent was all out of stickers. I know he noticed my disappointment. "Here", he said, as his wife kindly turned her back to him. "Have this one". He peeled it from the back of his wife's shirt and placed it on my arm. I thanked them and wore my banner proudly throughout the rest of the day.
Don't forget to vote!!!

I'll be voting. Wouldn't miss it!! I didn't get a mail-in ballot this year. . . forgot to send in for it. So I'll be going through the issues and taking a cheat sheet of how I am going to vote with me to the polling center! It will make it so much quicker! :)
