Eclipse (Rictameter)

I am totally smitten by eclipses, fascinated by all celestial events. I have been pondering how to express it since last night's eclipse of the moon. We were so lucky to have clear skies during most of the eclipse -- here in the cloudy winter climes. Tonight the sky is totally obscured. Last night was a gift. Here is my offering to the moon, the earth, and the sun as thanks for the spectacular show.

Thank you everyone. I am so glad you like the poem.

As far as the graphic is concerned, I use publishing software called FrameMaker. It has a fairly crude graphics capability. I made 4 separate items — the black box, yellow circle, gray circle, and text. I just layered them on top of each other, then used Paint Shop Pro to make a jpeg out of the finished product.
