"Today, I lie in a pool of my own blood. Reaching up through the thick redness, the light begins to fade and my eyes go dark again as my hand reaches for salvation. I feel the breeze against my skin reminding me of life and love, yet I slip further into the mire of my own lusts and iniquitous deeds. Gasping for breath and in my last words, I sharply embrace passion and it courses through me. The deceivers pray for my deliverance, for my demise as they mock my screams of anguish. No redemption this day. Recompense is just, and amenable, the takers."
