i am a proud and happy mom!!!

Baby Malachi has finally arrived!  He actually arrived right on his due date on Jully 29th 2008.  I have not had much of a chance to get on here since then.  He is a beautiful baby whom we love so dearlly!  Labor and everything went pretty smoothly.  I think it lasted around 8 hours fom the time my water broke till when I had him.  My husband was a great encouragemt through it all. With his help I was able to do it all naturally without an epidural.  Actually I give the Lord the credit and praise Him for giving my husband strength.  After having Malachi the nurse told me that his umbilical cord had a knot in it which is rare and usually results in death of baby.  She then told me that malachi is a lucky baby.  I told her "this baby had so many people praying for him".  I give God all the praise, I know it had nothing to do with luck!  What an Awesome God we serve!  I cannot express enough thanks to Him for giving my husband and I Malachi.  We now have the desire to raise him to know and love the Lord.  I love being a mom.  I will try to write more lator.  Right now I have to take advantage of the fack that my little prince charming is sleeping!  Have a blessed day everyone!
