I like Sierra Nicole. Sorry I'm not great with names but I've always like Ravyn but I think I am in the minority there ;)

Boys names - Kyle and Logan are nice.

I like to find different name. Im not one for commen names at all. My hubby is the same way, so it turned out good when we finally named our boys many of hours after they were both born. lol

Well my husband and I have always like Sierra, but here lately I'm not so sure about the Nicole part. What's funny is when we picked out the kids names we never made the trucks connections. Cheyenne is an old Chevy truck, Dakota is a Dodge truck, and Sierra is a GMC. LOL My oldest is the only one that doesn't have a name that is also a truck!

I prefer traditional names. In Scotland it is still common to find girls named for Grandmothers and boys for grandfathers.

Mind you, with the publicity given to silly women like Britney Spears, those sort of names are becoming more popular here too!

Why on earth her mother couldn't spell Britanny correctly is beyond me.

Well we do have two of our kids named for ancestors. Jesse was my great-great grandmother's name, but I liked it for a boy too. And Jonathan comes from my husband's grandfather who's name was John.

I was fortunate enough to suggest a maiden name of a great-great grandmother for a nephew and it was gladly accepted; now there are thousands of other Coopers since somehow it became a popular name after I started the suggestion back in '95...

Doing it all over or having my own choice for my own child I would be tempted to select a name like Sony, Nike, or YOUR favorite consumer products you absolutely trust... We seem to brabd everything these days, why not invest in the child's future in the networking of our commercial existence, whether they are litereally connected or not; who knows, they may have an advantage in the corporate world someday and humanize this empire of BRANDING... like our world of blogging has become...
