Happy Father's Day to all you special Dads out there, may you have a good one!
The house is a bit lonely today, as E had his first overnight with his dad and other grandparents. I haven't heard anything, so I will assume, no news is good news and everything is going well.
E is 7 1/2 months old and weighs 22 1/2 pounds, his length is 28 1/2 inches. He got that way by eating. He hasn't turned down anything that's been put into his mouth and will not skip any meals. So far he has had all the stage 1 vegetables and all the fruits except prunes, plus rice and oatmeal. Right now his snacks consist of juice in the morning and some vanilla or banana yogurt in the afternoon. A month ago his cheeks were more chubby, than they are now. He is becoming a little more active, so he might be slimming down a bit.
E has a bubbly personality and a happy face most of the time. He gets fussy when hungry, tired or messy. I know there will be challenges for me along the way, but for now, I am going to sit back and watch him grow. That reminds me of a song written back in the 1971, "Watching Scotty Grow," sang by Bobby Goldsboro. Many thought that was his son's name, but it wasn't.
