Any suggestions for a boy's 1st birthday party? We love to read, so I thought about trying to incorporate books somehow, like having a Mother Goose theme or asking people to bring books instead of toys. Other than that, he's all boy.
I'd love to hear what you did.

I'm sure it will be a great party!
for my kids birthdays i always make a special cake.we invite friends and family over.i think birthdays should be personal for kids, they should be surrounded by the people that love them.
The girls also like Scooby Doo- maybe a Scooby Doo theme? You can find books, movies, stuffed animals, etc. Just a thought. Maybe too hard for him to read, but its worth a try.
You could also try Pizza King (if you have it, they have a FREE party room, you just order the food and pay 10% to waitress) and normally they have booths also with a train delivering the food. Kinda cool for kids, delivering pizza, drinks, straws on the train track. Kinda cool!
