<>I just wanted to keep a journal type record of what I amfeelingweek to week as the pregnancy progresses. I didn't do itlasttime and I wish I had because then I would have it to sharewith/showmy kids!!! I started out at 5'9" 220lbs. I plan toworkthroughout the pregnancy right up until delivery!
<>
<>Ifound out I was pregnant when I injured my knee. It was about5 weeksafter our honeymoon and I took the home test my friend Leslie(a medicwho has spent time working in labor and delivery) broughtover, the daybefore I was scheduled to have an MRI to find out exactlywhat was wrongwith my knee. She said better safe then sorry andI don't think eitherof us were really expecting it to bepositive. It was great newsthough!!! Matt is as excited andhappy as I am! I wrote other articlesdescribing how we told thekids and they are happy too. Emotionally I amdoing great. At week 5 I had an emotional melt down and was sobbingover somethingsmall and silly.
<><><>Weeks 5and 6 I have had some achingpains in my side that feel like I havepulled muscles (my medic friendsays that this is ligament pain andnormal). I have had minimalnausea so far (thank GOD! When I waspregnant with Lily I gotsooo sick I had to wear a backpack I.V. to keephydrated, I couldn'teven keep water down!) So I am not very sick oranything. Iam taking my prenatal vitamins everyday and we have anappointment withthe Ob/Gyn this friday morning.
<>Fromreading stuff online I think that part of why I am not sick isbecauseI am eating smaller meals and spacing them out and not a lot ofjunk ornasty fats. My breakfast has been a bowl of frostedcheerios andmilk. I also always have a cup of decaffeinated hot tea.Sometimes Ialso have a half a banana. Mid morning or so i snackon some freshraspberries and blueberries, or some cheese, or yogurt orgrahamcrackers. Lunch I have a salad usually has ham or turkeyand cheese onit and ranch dressing. I drink about 4 -5 bottlesof water a day. afterlunch i usually snack on carrots and celeryin ranch dressing or I eatsaltines or just drink water. Forsupper I eat a normal supper with thefamily, usually something withchicken and drink more water. Again, thisseems to be workingfor me as I am not yet very nauseated and have notthrown up!!!! Itruly hope this continues. The few times the nausea hasgottenout of control I ate a Ginger Altoid (I have only ever seen thematRite Aide) and it helped. They are a small ginger candy andtheyreally have helped me with nausea even when I am not pregnant!
I am 6 weeks and 4 days pregnant with 234days left to go till my due date.
Ihopesome people find this series I am planning to be helpful. Iam hoping towrite one every week or so. Maybe more depending onhow I feel, or ifsomething happens related to the pregnancy!!
Blessings to all
Kimber

Congrats & enjoy...
Cant wait for more updates!
Are you excited to find out the sex of the baby or do you think you will leave it a surprise?
Ginger snap cookies work too and they have organic ones at Whole Foods and probably other stores....my daughter just had a baby and she said that she thinks if your are PG with a girl you get morning sickness because of hormone overload and that doesnt happen so much with boys , but its just her observation, she had morning sickness and had a girl !!!! good luck with everything
feelings and how you're doing
as the pregnancy progresses.
I think it's a great idea.
Thank you for sharing with us!
Peace.
