Christmas Lights

My Grandson discovered the Christmas tree lights tonight.  He just started staring at the tree.  I put him on his play pad and he lay there a good half hour, just looking at the tree.  He was a month old last Friday.  I think we enjoy our grandchildren more than we did our own children.  Maybe, it's because we don't have to take full responsibility, or perhaps, we just have more time to take in all the joys of their childhood.  I wouldn't take a million for him.  He's definitely a keeper.  Oh, how I love that boy.  He's #7 of my favorite grandchildren.

LaRue, I know how you feel I have a grand daughter who is 13 months old now..I just wish I could be there for Christmas as this is the first one where she will almost (haha) understand what is going on.

That reminds me. I hope the new puppy doesn't try to chew on the light cord when we put our tree up...

I haven't got grandkids yet, and I can wait a little while so my kids are settled (and my daughter gets married of course..LOL) before worrying about grandkids, but I do look forward to them.

Kids are so cute. It's wonderful when they discover things like Christmas lights. Enjoy those grandkids.

I think it is wonderful that you are getting so much joy out of the little ones!!!! I figure I wont be a grandma for at least 15 years hopefully a little longer!!!! I am hoping to have another baby though!!! My husband and I both want more children!
