bratworst on a bun and potato salad. That's about all I could handle so I didn't even try for more. Since it was just hubby and me. (and yes NO dessert).
We had Taco John's for lunch today. My husband is getting ready to start cooking tonight. He's smoking ribs, and cooking potatoes and baked beans on the grill. We will probably also do hotdogs or a hamburger for our 2 year old, because ribs are too hard for him.
We were pretty boring. For lunch we had peanutbutter and jelly and a salad. For dinner I had a salad and baked potato. My husband had the same plus a bbqed rib. We had moose tracks ice cream for dessert.
I have been sick with sore throat and swollen glands, I ate yogurt for lunch and white rice with a cream spinach sauce for dinner. I am vegetarian and could not swallow real food today.
I had black coffee for breakfast and nothing else yet. I usually only eat once a day...a late dinner around 11PM. I'll be char-blackening some white hots and have some macaroni salad, chips and strawberries for dessert.
for lunch we had pollo maria with fettucine and squash at my parents house. They were trying to duplicate the dish they had had at Carrabas. It was great! For dinner I had a hamburger from Sonic. We are homebodies.
Mangoes, Hummus and carrot sticks, garbanzo beans (like a couple cans worth) and spinach. Yup, I eat weird. Oh yeah, spring water if you count liquid intake too.

I guess our Fourth of July feast was a little atypical. We made homemade spring rolls and fried rice and spent most of the evening watching the debut of a movie my daughter had made.
