I finally figured out how to use MS Movie Maker a couple months ago, and I enjoyed putting a few movies together. I am looking forward to making more. With this in mind, I am taking lots of pictures, putting together some thoughts for new songs, and thinking about what sort of snippets of action I want!
One thing I've been thinking about heavily is the fact that deep down, I want to be a rock star. This just won't ever happen. Not because the odds are against me, but because I am just not rock star material. Folk singer, opera singer, nursery rhyme singer, humorous satirical singer... maybe. But, Sammy Hagar I am not!
And I am ok with that, I think.
Yesterday, Scott and I went to get breakfast early in the morning, and the Cure was playing on the radio. I seriously could not understand a word that was being sung! I turned to Scott and said, "What language is this? Is he actually singing words??"
Scott laughed. "Welcome to being a grown up, Cori."
I guess it might be back to Lawrence Welk for me! I do find those accordians to be uber sexy!
What do you do when you feel discontentment with where you are in life?

Don't worry about not being Sammy Hagar - there already is one. Mas tequila!
I guess I felt the discontentment early on. I had plans when I was young, they didn't work out and I had to be real about what was actually possible in my life, given my circumstances. I'm not a big risk taker and had children to raise.
But I've found that there isn't a too old to do something if you really want to do it. There is a too dead however.
When I'm discontent, I do some writing, have a little popcorn and hug the ones I love. Sometimes I need to be alone but in a house with 4 other people, it doesn't always happen.
I really can not recall having 'discontentment' in my life, - as a child my daddy has taught me to be content in all stages of my life and I have always tried to live content!
