The Flu...

I've knocked on wood one too many times and I finally got the crud(the flu).
I NEVER get sick but this time it hit me full force.  I don't like to whine(ok so that is a lie) but I have been sick since last Thursday!!!  I still feel like road kill and hurt all over.

By the grace of God he gave me a 60 degree day today and the kids are playing outside!!  I'm trying to catch up on my college homework since I have been neglecting everything!!

 Hope you enjoy!!   Oh I almost forgot the most important part...I've lost 10 lbs since last Thursday!!  Whoo Hoo!!!

Shorts in winter - woohoo! Hope you shake that flu soon.
I am so very sorry that you are sick. I hope that you have all the proper medications from the doctor. The flus are getting worse and worse.

I hope you get better very soon. Although losing 10 pounds always sounds good...it is not good to lose that much weight in such a short period of time. Keep getting fluids into your system. Feel better! I will be praying for you.

I'm so sorry you're sick, Danielle. Today my throat started hurting, and I'm hoping and praying it isn't going to turn into the flu. I REALLY don't want it....but its really going around. Feel better soon!

Thank goodness for 60 degree weather! A little whinning is good to get sympathy. Imagine I am giving you a little squeeze on the shoulder and I am saying I am so sorry you have the flu. The chicken soup is coming and I can smell it. I leave with a little peck on your feverish forehead!

That flu bug is the worst! My family had it this year..........AWFUL. Hopefully you will be feeling back on your feet again very soon.

We had a 70 degree day on Sunday, the kids even got a suntan on their little faces................then today it is back in the 30's. This weather is a mystery.

I hate hate hate hate hate the flu. I was reading news reports last week about the hospitals around here closing because they were overwhelmed with flu patients.. They were only accepting major emergancies!

Made me want to grab my kids and stay undercover in our house for a few weeks LOL

I'm sorry your sick Danielle. The flu sucks, but I can't help but snicker at the picture of your children playing in 60 degree snow. You should send that picture to the local newspaper... priceless.

I got it this year too! It was horrible, a couple of weeks before the pain completely went away. One year though I got it & it was a month at least before my symptoms started to let up. Hope you are at least starting to feel better!
