Gratitude List 3-3-08

  It's that time again to take notice of what we are thankful for today. There are so many blessing right now in my life that it hard to narrow them down. Even if you are having a rough time right now, you can always, stop, and take notice of some blessings in your life.

1. The SUN IS SHINING BRIGHT and it has reached the 60 degree mark here in Missouri. YAHOO! I got to take my kids to the park today. I saw there little smiling faces as they ran, and giggled, and climbed, and went down the slides. We also got to go to the duck pond and feed the little quackers some bread. (I would have gotten some pics to share but my camera decided it didn't have enough battery juice!)

2. The park wore my son down so much that he will probably be napping for the next two hours! Now if that isn't something to be grateful for I don't know what is. LOL!

3.  My parents are taking Maddie and Aidan for the WHOLE WEEKEND starting Friday at 5pm all the way until Sunday afternoon. That means I am going to meet my girlfriend Lesa in Quincy and we will SHOP TIL WE DROP next Saturday. I am counting down the days! Plus I can spend time with my husband, Lenny, and maybe go out to dinner or to a movie or whatever. I could probably be shoveling hog manuer and I wouldn't care!! hee hee hee

4. I took my daughter to a baby shower yesterday afternoon. We did all those silly games they do and she got to make some new friends. The BEST part was that I won a game and my prize was this cute little FROG playing guitar and it is a garden statue. Which just made me all the more happy because Spring is right around the corner! I want to work in my flower beds and I will find a place for Mr Guitar Frog too!
