The Bucket List - a movie review

This is an adult movie - Yay!

It is a life affirming movie about two men who are dying and how they want to do "one more thing" before they go.  Granted one is wise and the other rich - it helps a lot in their plans.

Of course there are a lot of "suspend disbelief" moments...

The acting as excellent - you could really believe that these actors "became" these two old men.

It's warm, caring, loving, delightful and heartbreaking.

I highly recommend it.

It's good to see Jack Nicholson acting his age. So many actors of his generation seem so desperate to hold on to their past roles as action heroes and leading men who always get the girl.

This is a wonderful movie and poorly protrayed in the trailer I beliece as a silly comedy. While it is very funny, it also conains every other emotion as well, there is drama and adventure,sadness and great moments of joy. "I laughed till I cried!!"

10 stars from me for he movie and the review. This is one to add to the movie file!!

Thanks for the review. A lot of people seem to really like this film. I wonder why the crictics are giving it such low marks. It scored a 1.5 star in People.

I want to see it. I've read some reviews from actual viewers, not professional critics, and most liked it. I don't know what it is about movie critics - or maybe it is just me- but I often find myself in disagreement with the movies they they recommend - or pan. There are exceptions but I tend to come to my own conclusions. Besides, some movies just build acclaim by word of mouth. I don't know if you saw it but Juno was one of those movies. Popular with many people, not always so popular with critics.
