Caillou is the closest thing to comfort food for kids!
This half-hour animated show follows Caillou, a four-year-old Canadian boy, on his everyday adventures. No swashbuckling antics here; the biggest obstacles Caillou deals with are being embarrassed about breaking a friend's sand bucket or forgetting his toy car at the ice cream shop.
The gentle storylines will appeal to the preschool set, as will Calliou's amiable family. Mom, Dad, Grandma and Grandpa are always on hand to teach, educate, and entertain. One note of caution, however: we've yet to find another theme song that sticks in our head for hours at a time...not even Diego's.
