We were skeptical when this animated series launched. How could a little redheaded girl named Darby accompany Pooh on adventures instead of his beloved Christopher Robin?
What would the producers do next, make Pooh a penguin instead of a bear with a rumbly tumbly?
Luckily, Darby has just the right mix of sweetness and tomboyish-take-charginess (plus a cute puppy named Buster) to fit in perfectly at the Hundred-Acre Wood. Pooh and the inimitable Tigger are solving mysteries this time around (on scooters, no less) but each of their original personalities has been left beautifully intact. (And yes, Pooh still says "rumbly tumbly.")
This is a wonderful show for kids 3-6. (More recommendations here.)
What do you think about Pooh? Is it a good show for children?

I also had my doubts about adding a girl to the show and not mentioning my dear friend, Christopher Robin! All that said, it works - it really works! It is a new age and what can be wrong with recognizing Christopher Robin grew up by now! Come on, "Think, think, think"!
HAHA I totally LOLd!
My kids LOVE Pooh! We read one of his books every night! ;o)
My kids also love the Doodlebops & The Little Einsteins.
