Chain Game: Turn of Phrase (January 4, 2008)

It's time once again for a Chain Game; today's game is called Turn of Phrase!

To play this game, you use at least one of the words in the previous sentence to begin a new sentence of your choosing. For example, if the previous sentence was 'I love cats', you could write 'Love is a battlefield' or 'Cats are planning world domination.'

Got it? Let's start with a quotation (by Dick Cheney):

"Let us rid ourselves of the fiction that low oil prices are somehow good for the United States."
