I have an entire playlist filled with songs that I listen to when I just want to forget about things going on when life gets a little dreary (and that happens a lot in the middle of winter) or when I just need something lighthearted. Isla Para Dos totally fits the bill, actually, the few Thalia songs that have made it into my music library fit the bill.
It has a light island feel, total pop vibe, but at the same time I can just start dancing to it at any point in the song no matter what I am doing-- and yes, I have perfected the art of dancing while seated.
Today is one of those days where I just need everything to be casual, no worries here and I certainly don't want to hear your problems (I mean that in a nice way). All I need is a Pina Colada and I'm set.
