I was trying to think of a way to contribute daily/weekly content to my new group Musica Latina this morning. At the same time I was going through the family CD collection and ripping CDs so I could add my favovorites to my player.
Don't know why I didn't think of it right away but I figured why not share my favorite Latin songs with the group and Gather as a whole. So starting today I will have a song of the day (SOD) posted to the group, might end up doing every other day. I have plenty to choose from in my own collection to last a good long while.

The first SOD is I've Got No Strings by The Gypsy Kings. The Gypsy Kings are an old favorite of mine and I love this tune, the handclapping gets me worked up everytime. For some reason I recognize this song from somewhere else, think I heard it in the movie Pinocchio but it has been so long since I have seen any Disney.
