Beach Monday

Good afternoon, I just wanted to share a little about my Monday. For my family it is still summer (yay) and so we are trying to squeeze in as much activities as possible. Today we are at the beach, just relaxing and playing in the water--well the kids are, anyways.

I just love the beach! Especially on a day like this where I live, it is sunny, but there is a cool breeze from time to time. Don't you just love summer?! Haha. The beach that we are at doesn't have the nicest sand...there are A LOT of sea shells poking out ready to jab your feet, so flip-flops are a must. But other than that, the water is cool, sparkling, and very inviting!

It is surprising that my kids aren't really the 'beach' type. Although they do love to play in the water, they get tired after a thirty minutes! Whew, I have to pack all their toys, sand-castle making buckets, shovels, snacks, sunscreen, and they only stay out for a few minutes before complaining, "When are we going hoome?". 

So far this Monday has been great, I hope everyone else out there is having a peaceful day today.
