The following items are from the August 25 issue of COUNTRY WEEKLY, on sale now.
VOTE FOR COUNTRY'S SEXIEST MAN
Who's the hottest guy in country music? Country Weekly is letting the fans decide who is "Country's Sexiest Man." Fans can choose from a group of hot hunks--like Trace Adkins, Tim McGraw and Keith Urban--or write in their own choice. Last year, Country Weekly readers gave the "Country's Sexiest Man" title to Toby Keith. Will Toby repeat this year, or will fans cast their ballots for a different star? Fans can vote for their favorites online at countryweekly.com through Aug. 20. The results will be revealed in the Sept. 22 issue of Country Weekly.
KEITH ANDERSON: NO FEAR
Keith Anderson talks about his mom, fatherhood and his new music as he bikes the Colorado trails. Keith tells Country Weekly that his current hit single, "I Still Miss You," has become a personal expression of loss after his mother's death this year. "It's taken on such a new meaning, with stuff I'm going through," he says. "You go through something like that, and you pray so much to get over it." Keith adds that the thought of being a parent appeals to him. "I love kids," he says. "Just the concept of raising a little ‘mini Keith.' I'd love that."
