These thoughts would ALMOST make me feel like one can "float" right into and through self-reflection, but experience has taught me otherwise.  Good thoughts though.  I like this.  But, whether I like it or not, it does seem to me to be necessary to take a new step forward.  Your essay is very acceepting of life the way it is and provides a sense of security in venturing forward.

One must always venture forward, Lynne...but keep the past in mind.

The second picture.  It is so close to the water.  Does it not get flooded?  Even here, if a house were that close to the river, it would certainly be flooded ever so often.  I just couldn't help but wonder about that.

How cool was that...didn't plan it...but there it is.

Bob, each time I think that how do you manage both, skiled photography and a brilliance in writing.

Buzzy, I don't know...early in the morn...round about 4 ish, I look at my images and ideas flow.  I'm a real visual person....I start with an image and then my brain kicks in.

Absolutely stunning pictures, Bob.  Reflecting has many facets for me.

I've been doing a whole lot myself lately.  Being up at Flye for 9 days in the middle of nowhere, wandering around, taking pictures and doing some thinking.  Then coming home, the gardens were in need of care, so I've been  pulling weeds and reflecting on life in general.

Words to consider as I look at your peaceful photos.
