Well, a lot of the yearlings didn't sell at the auction, Shivna included. The economy just isn't a good one for buying a horse...
Under better circumstances, I don't think anyone could have resisted such a sweet filly!
She was so well behaved, though, both for Ag Field Day yesterday and the Auction today. In fact, yesterday, she got 2nd in fillies grooming class, 2nd in novice handling, and then when the students were given unfamiliar horses for the championship handling class, she won first with a girl who'd never worked with her before. I was so incredibly proud!

She looked gorgeous today, and I was sad that she didn't find an awesome buyer. But maybe that's a sign that I should start saving...
Anyway, I'm exhausted, so I'll write more better entries later!
